VIVIAN DAVIDSON

Vivian comes from a rich and diverse cultural background, with roots in Scotland, Germany, France, and Spain. Born in Mexico City, she has lived in various countries, but for the past 15 wonderful years, she's proudly called Vancouver my home. As an actress, activist, and athlete, Vivian is always looking for ways to blend her passions for activism and filmmaking to inspire people to improve their lives and the communities we live in. As a producer and storyteller, she is drawn to a wide range of topics, from history and arts/culture to social impact and the environment. Her mission is to leave the world better than she found it and to inspire others to do the same.

BEN LIEGEY

PRODUCER

Ben, originally from Strasbourg, France, spent six years in Belgium and is an award-winning food waste expert with over a decade of experience across the food supply chain. With an engineering background and an Executive MBA, he focuses on preventing food waste and tackling climate change. As the Founder and CEO of BetterTable™, a Vancouver-based benefit company, Ben empowers kitchens to improve profitability while cutting food waste in half. He provides quality education, food audits, and innovative digital solutions tailored for hotels, restaurants, and tourism operators. A pioneer in testing the Food Loss & Waste Standard in 2016, Ben also actively collaborates with public decision-makers, chairing a Food Waste Working Group for Metro Vancouver and contributing to the National Zero Waste Council.

GRACE LOEPPKY

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Grace's passion for perfecting the lighting in her own home translates seamlessly into her work, where she creates images that truly enhance the stories filmmakers want to tell. Originally from Ontario, Grace moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to attend NSCAD, where she quickly discovered her love for filmmaking. She found a balance between developing compelling stories and the technical skill to create a powerful visual impact on screen. When she moved to Vancouver in 2016, Grace connected with a vibrant community of passionate, like-minded creatives in the independent film scene. Since then, she's gained invaluable experience in scene breakdown and camera movement as a dolly operator with IATSE 891 and has honed her expertise in lighting through her work as a key grip.

LUKE STRAHM

CINEMATOGRAPHER

Luke is a passionate visual artist who grew up in Washington, USA. He began working for a production company early in high school, gaining hands-on experience in everything from on-set production to final product delivery. Whether he's serving as a Director of Photography (DoP) on commercials, music videos, short films, and documentaries, or editing, color grading, and creating motion graphics at his desk, Luke is deeply committed to his craft. Since moving to BC, Luke has worked on dozens of projects across various genres, becoming a widely recognized and sought-after DoP. His experience in other film departments has sharpened his versatility and keen eye for detail.

HAYLEY SAWATZKY

EDITOR

Hayley Sawatzky is an editor and post-production enthusiast based in Vancouver, BC. She has contributed to dozens of short films and TV shows, many of which have received critical acclaim. Inspired by her community of filmmakers, Hayley strives to capture the ineffable qualities of humanity through her work. With experience both on set and in post-production, she is dedicated to bringing scripts to life as vividly and accurately as possible.

DORYAN HEIJNEN

SOUND

Doryan’s passion for discovering music and exploring its stories has fueled his journey into the world of film and television, where he now tells his own stories through recording and editing audio. With both parents in music production and being exposed to live DJ sets even before birth, it’s no surprise that Doryan found his path in audio. Originally from The Netherlands, Doryan has called Vancouver, Canada, home for over 20 years. His goal is to make a positive impact through his audio work, whether it's on a film project or a music track he’s produced.

ANDREW WALES

SOUND

Andrew Wales is a freelance boom operator and sound mixer based in Vancouver, BC. After graduating from Vancouver Film School in December 2017 with a diploma in Sound Design for Visual Media, he has worked on numerous short films and three feature films as a location sound recordist. He also works remotely from home as a sound designer, contributing to MOWs and short films as a dialogue editor, ADR recordist, and background/ambiance editor. Raised in White Rock, BC, Andrew enjoys exploring new locations on each set he works on and values building personal connections with the cast and crew. With Vancouver holding a special place in his heart, he proudly considers himself a true "BC Boy."

NINA LEE

SOUND

Nina graduated with a Bachelor of Recording Arts in 2015. After spending three years working in both production and post-production sound in China, she decided to continue her career in Vancouver, BC.

Whenever she works on a project, Nina focuses on the story's message and strives to evoke an emotional response from viewers. This attention to detail has led her to work on incredible features, short films, MOWs, and commercials as a production sound mixer. With a deep love for movies, she enjoys collaborating with other creative professionals to craft compelling stories.

ALEX & NIKOLA

POST-PRODUCTION EDITORS

Alex Schenke & Nikola Tanaskovic are the duo behind the new Vancouver-based post-production startup, Kill Screen. Their shared passion for editing began in a high school film class, where they quickly became friends. They went on to attend Capilano University together, graduating with a Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts in 2015. After several years of working together in the corporate world, they decided in early 2021 to combine their skills and start their own business. Kill Screen specializes in all aspects of post-production, from editorial to VFX and everything in between.
